The Cat in the Hat is a book where an eccentric hat-wearing cat visits two children, Sally and Sam, who are home alone and having a very dull day. Their mother is out, and when the Cat comes in, he reassures the kids that their mother won't mind him or his tricks! The book was met with immediate success and has become one of the best-selling children’s books of all time, making the Cat in the Hat Dr. Seuss’ signature creation.

This all over print showcases the aftermath of one of the Cat’s tricks! While balancing on a ball, he performed Up-up-up with the children’s fish, which entailed holding as many items as possible high in the air. Then he fell on his head! He came down with a bump from up there on the ball, and Sally and Sam saw all the things fall. Just like the illustrations in the book, the Cat is seen taking a tumble amongst all the falling objects. The ball is there, a rake, a cake and more—even the fish can be seen taking a soar! Another one of the Cat’s tricks is also displayed as the enamel zipper charm, as he carries the box containing Thing One and Thing Two.
