The Sea Otter family are adorable round characters with small ears and diamond-shaped noses. This set includes the mother, father and cradled babies wearing outfits with a shell motif, with a pram and a shoulder bag. The two cradled babies can ride in the shell pram. The shoulder bag opens and closes, and has a pearl inside. The cradled babies are holding their favourite shells.

Colin Cove is a laid-back dad. He likes to relax at the beach and look out at the sea. He likes the seashell-shaped pouch. In it, he keeps his favorite cream and his prized pearl that he found in the sea a long time ago.

Myra Cove, the mother, is slightly impatient. Her catchphrase is "Oh, I'm so busy!" She is very adept at cracking seashells open quickly. Her special clam chowder with plenty of shellfish is a thing of beauty.

The two little babies, Kayley and Courtney, are always together, holding hands. Kayley is a bit of a scaredy cat, while Courtney is calm.
