Created by an artist who is intimately familiar with racehorses because she owns one, Godspeed is more than a brilliant rendition of a jockey on a Thoroughbred whose tail and mane flag in the wind as they speed towards the winner's circle. Wearing checkered blinkers (symbolic of the checkered flag associated with ta winner) and colourful silks (the identify the owner and carry a shamrock for good fortune), it's a lucky piece in its own right. The title comes from a term used when trainers send their riders our for a race, and wish them a safe journey and a safe return. For those who believe in luck, it is a gift of hope for a prosperous journey through life 

Painted Ponies is a collection of figurines based on the life-sized public art project called The Trail of Painted Ponies which first appeared in Santa Fe, USA in 2001. Intended to promote cultural tourism, the project enchanted hundreds of thousands of people, produced dazzling original artwork, and raised almost a million dollars for the local community. The Trail of Painted Ponies explores the inspirational power of the horse by giving artists the opportunity to paint and embellish elegantly designed horse sculptures, which are crafted into highly detailed, miniature resin and ceramic collectible figurines that honour the spirit and capture the power, beauty and magic of the original artworks. These miniature works of art are prized by collectors who appreciate artistry and fine craftsmanship. All Painted Ponies begin as original designs submitted by established and emerging artists, which are transformed into finely detailed hand-painted resin or ceramic decal figurines.
